I am so happy that I bought this cabinet! There are three boxed shelves along the left side of the cabinet that are perfect for storing decorative item or small toiletries. The inside has one shelf and each shelf is tall/deep enough to stand 4 rolls of toilet paper or whatever else you need to fit inside. The door design is a decorative 'braided' look that does not look cheesy, but elegant.
One major thing that impressed me was that it did not feel cheap in construction. The pieces felt sturdy and the unit as a whole feels very solid. So many 'put it together yourself' pieces of furniture are a nightmare, but this was actually stress-free. There are no written instructions on how to put this piece together....only diagrams (which I feel made the process SO much easier). The bags with the parts were sealed, numbered, and corresponded with the diagrams perfectly so there was no second-guessing as to what went where. I had the whole piece put together in about a half-hour. Pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly and even the cabinet door opened and closed without rubbing along the edges.
As for color, it is a dark, rich brown color. It does have very little soft, burnished hints of deep red in a few areas, but it does not alter the affect of the piece and I think was only meant to accent it. I did NOT want anything remotely red in a wall cabinet and after this went up in the bathroom I did not notice the accents at all. I have not bought any of the other pieces in this collection but would not hesitate to do so after having such success with this one.

OK, agree with the others that this is overall a very nice product. Attractive and fairly easy to put together -- much easier than it looks at first with all those parts staring you in the face. But I have one big issue with it -- this is NOT espresso. This baby is dark cherry -- no two ways about it. It matches perfectly the dark cherry furniture in our living room. It does not, however, match the espresso stuff in the bathroom. I don't know how it could be so red and still call this espresso. I'm tempted to live with it since it's so nice in other ways, and it's a hassle to send back. Probably why they tolerate such wide fluctuations in color because people like me give in. But others should be forewarned.

Very nice wood cabinet that does exactly what we were looking for - get all the creams, cosmetics and other clutter off our bath sink and stowed away neatly out of sight but within easy reach. The assembly was fairly easy and the quality and construction are very good.
Because of the solid wood, the cabinet is heavy and if you wish to store bottles of lotion and other stuff that will weigh it down even more, this thing has to go on studs behind the wall; you don't want to hang this on drywall (even with the supplied plastic anchors). But the problem is that the cabinet is not wide enough to span two wall studs (16" apart in the U.S). I was able to improvise by mounting hooks on the center back of the cabinet and hung it on one wall stud.
Other than that, very pleased with the purchase.

This was the perfect addition to our bathroom. We don't have a medicine cabinet or much storage, so this gave us a little more. It's sturdy, nice quality, and looks pretty on the wall, plus it was relatively inexpensive compared to others we looked at. It's more of a red-brown color than espresso as it's called, and the decorations on the door are a little cheap but that's only noticed when you get really close. If you are looking for concealed storage, this might not fit the bill - the door is wood slats and you can see a little of what's inside. Overall this was a great purchase and I'm really glad we bought it.

Original shipment came with a broken back piece due to inadiquate protection. Shipper replaced quickly with no hassle. Product appears to be of satisfactory quality for the low price. Easy to reassemble and install. However, there are a few blemishes/flaws I've had to dab with furniture dye.
