Gardman R355 The Charleston Arch
Add some Southern hospitality to your garden with the Gardman Charleston Garden Arch. The delicate lines of this arbor create an elegant yet understated accent. Diamond and scroll shapes within the side panels bring sophistication to the arch, while the curves on the roof mirror the scrollwork detailing on the sides. This arch is perfect for supporting lightweight climbing plants and vines or for displaying small hanging accents. For a more individual look, train your plants to grow through the arbor by weaving them in and out of the scrollwork as they grow. The metal construction will withstand harsh climates and the black coloration will blend with any surrounding. Bring a touch of Southern charm to your garden with the Charleston Garden Arch. Cheap aluminumJul 22, 2011
By Adam Dials
The arch is cheap aluminum, not wrought iron as I expected. I'll take the hit on not researching well enough, but folks looking at this beware. It's kind of flimsy and we get a lot of windstorms around here, not sure how it is going to hold up.

SatisfiedJul 31, 2012
By Keviin R. Oconnnor
It is rather flimsy aluminum but I knew that going in from other reviews. I have a good place for it where it will not be in danger of toppling or leaning. It looks good where we placed it and I am satisfied.

adequate for the priceApr 21, 2013

You are not going to get good quality wrought iron at this price. However, this metal arch is good for temporary use or where it can be attached to a fence or wall for added support. It would not support a heavy climbing rose out in the open. But if attached as noted above it will support the weight just not much sail effect from high winds. The design is basic and fits a lot of different styles. It is very easy assemble. I would drill holes at the unions and add some extra screws for added stability. You can use re-bar stakes with hose clamps for added strength too....enjoy...it's a nice arch for the money.

Great ArchJun 28, 2011
By Vanessa Sessler
The Arch looks great and was easy to install. It was up within an hour that it arrive. We need something to inhance our side front yard, after our neighbor put ugly green wooden fence that now blocks out our old view of the neighborhood. The arch help to inhance the view along with the added plants and other items we had on hand.
My Ivy ArchwayNov 23, 2013

For the price it is very sturdy and it fit perfect where I wanted it. Wide enough to get wheelbarrows/wagons through it so if your worried about blocking a walk way you get pretty good clearance.
