Very High Quality Product., July 10, 2006

I ordered the folding card table and four chairs and am very pleased with the quality and workmanship of this product.
The table is quite heavy to lift but otherwise a fine unit.
I would recommend this product to anyone who demands the highest quality and workmanship in their furnishings.

beautiful table-surpassed my expectationsOct 19, 2011
By T. Ettenborough
I am a mature, displaced professional, who moved to find a job, and am now living in a "teeney-tiny" efficiency apartment! I was looking for a NICE table that I could feel proud to serve dinner on for company; AND it needed to be collapsible and easy to store. My place is SO small that the living-sleeping-eating area is only 12' x 16', BUT I make it work with a few beautiful pieces of furniture. There are gate-leg tables, and drop leaf tables out there that caught my eye but were too large for my space. I resigned myself to buying a card table and found many are made out of wood.
THIS table is heavy and feels (and looks) like a quality piece. It arrived double boxed and cushion wrapped. It is pretty in the photo and even better in reality. The finish is smooth and the color rich, the underneath is stained too. All of the wood used in the table top is 3/4 inch. The legs look a little spindly in the photo but are not; they are slender but 1" thick and 2" wide (at the widest part) solid wood. The mechanism for the folding leg is metal and spring loaded, so when you open it it 'clicks' into place providing a very sturdy surface, and the legs release just as easily.
I was able to match (close enough) folding mission chairs (wooden)so with table settings I have my dining table, and everything folds up and fits under my stairs.

Excellent and VersatileSep 23, 2008

The product meets every requirement we have for it. We use it for puzzles and mah jong. It is sturdy and the finish blends in well with the rest of out furniture. It is so much more then a "card table".

Nice tableDec 29, 2010
Nice table. Seems exceptionally sturdy. A bit taller than the normal, cheap metal card table which makes it nicer. I gave the gift to the "bridge player" but used it on christmas as we had more people show up. Everyone commented on how nice it was, and where did I get it. The big test will be the bridge group and what they have to say, but I am sure it will be all good. It came soon, wrapped nicely, actually a little too good to open under the tree. Heavy, but that just means it is sturdy. I would recommend.
